Chief James Pierson (Ret.)
A retired Police Chief, James Pierson, is currently commissioned an investigator for the Rusk County Attorney’s Office in Texas. He served as the Chief of Police of the Henderson Police Department before retiring in 2017. During his time in Henderson, he had a passion for training throughout his 28 year career with the agency. Chief Pierson served in a variety of command roles before retiring, and is a long-time adjunct instructor with two academies in East Texas, also serving as a board member for the Texas Police Association and serving on multiple course development committees with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). Presenting courses through his company and as a lead trainer for Blauer Tactical Systems through early 2024, Pierson delivered courses in the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom certifying instructors for police, military, and other first responders as well as civilians. As part of this international partnership, Chief Pierson delivers training in Use of Force, Courtroom Testimony, and hands on officer safety courses among others. He has served as an expert witness in the use of force, police leadership and police procedures in multiple states at both the State and Federal Court level. A two time speaker for the International Police Chief's Association, Chief Pierson has authored articles on training and continues to develop custom programs for departments and groups.
Elisa Weber
A full partner and lead trainer in JP Law Enforcement & Safety Training, Elisa Weber owns and operates a licensed Executive Protection company in Austria. She has been involved in Executive Protection and security since 2020 and has provided protection services in both an open and undercover capacity to corporate and private clients in multiple countries across the European Union. As part of her training delivery on behalf of her own company and as a member of Blauer Tactical Systems Mobile Training Team from 2022 to 2024, Elisa delivered programs to law enforcement, security, care and services, and social work staff along with civilians at both end-user and instructor levels internationally. In addition to her work in protective services, she continues to deliver training when requested in Europe, Great Britain, and the United States. Elisa has also provided training to victims of violence and abuse and delivered self-defense programs for teenagers in schools.
